In order to use special character / ligature / stylistic alternates or swash, you need a program that supports OpenType features such as Adobe Illustrator CS, Adobe Photoshop CC, adobe Indesign and Corel Draw.
Photoshop CC and higher have a glyph panel where you can access the swashes & alternates.
Select the font and go to Window Type – Glyphs and click on the glyph you want to use.For Illustrator choose Type Glyphs or Window Type & Tables Glyphs.
